About the Author
Richard A. LaFleur has taught since 1972 at the University of Georgia, where he served for 21 years as head of one of the largest Classics programs in North America and currently holds the chair of Franklin Professor of Classics. He has numerous textbooks and other publications in Latin language, literature, and pedagogy, was editor of The Classical Outlook for 25 years and president of the American Classical League 1984-1986, and has been recipient of more than one million dollars in grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and other agencies, and of state, regional, and national awards for teaching and professional service, including the American Philological Association's Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Classics.
Brad Tillery holds a BA and MEd from Georgia College and State University. He has been teaching since 1992, and is currently at North Oconee High School, in Bogart, Georgia. He is author or coauthor of several publications for the classroom, including, for Bolchazy-Carducci, Vocabulary Cards and Grammatical Forms Summary for Wheelock's Latin, Cumulative Vocabulary Lists for Wheelock's Latin, and Ovid Vocabulary Cards for AP Selections.

wheellocks Latin grammer quick

I have two of these , one for school and one for home study. I carry it to class all the time. Excellent review of verb forms with examples, as well as all noun declensions etc. It is way better to carry this than the heavy text. Fits well into any 8x11 binder pockets. Very good Buy

Too much of a show-off

Don't buy this if you are a new student of Latin or if you are trying to relearn the language. While it is packed with information, the author appears to be trying to be clever, often too much so. Whether this is the result of trying to pack a lot into a small space, or an attempt at cleverness is unclear, but it comes off as the latter.
The primary fault is that the otherwise lucid explanations are constantly interrupted by extraneous translations of an English phrase into Latin: "...e.g., amabo: I will love: (1) root meaning (princeps significatio) here, "love"... The student does not need the translation of "root meaning," he or she needs to understand the structure of a Latin verb. Since most modern students are not taught the structure of English, anything that adds to the confusion is dead weight.
The advanced student may find it useful, as will those whose Latin is merely a bit rusty. The rest will find it anything from annoying to intimidating. I may go through my copy with a permanent marker and edit out the annoying distractions. I have a perfectly good Latin dictionary if I want to translate something into Latin.

This is great review on the grammar concepts you learn from Wheelock-right at your fingertips! As a Latin teacher, I think all Latin students need this as a reference guide especially if those students are going to take the AP Vergil exam. Thanks for this handy guide that can be kept in a binder.
